The job of a makeup artist is to enhance or create an image, not take away from the person or subject.  In glamour, many women feel that they have to "cake on the makeup" to look beautiful, when in fact, inappropriate application of makeup can create an unattractive look.  Proper makeup application and makeup creations are important, as well as color selections for skin tones.  Although we apply cosmetics, our goal is to enhance your natural beauty.

In Feature Films and Television, cosmetics and products are used as a form of creating art.  Our goal is to enhance and create the characters for the roles in which they are portraying. Award winning production begins behind the scenes.  

As in any career field, someone who says they are a "Makeup Artist" does not qualify him or her as professional and knowledgeable. For example, a teaching degree does not qualify someone as an excellent teacher.  Experience and knowledge as a Makeup Artist is of the utmost importance.  The best compliment we receive is the referrals and letters , thank you gifts and compliments from producers, directors, photographers and freelance private clients.
